For over 100 years, Richardson-Wayland has been successfully and safely performing electrical construction projects across the east coast. Our success is directly attributable to our commitment that every employee from our field groundman through the president of our company actively participate in achieving safety excellence by continuously looking for improvement opportunities. We recognize that to truly achieve a culture of safety excellence, you cannot just talk about it; you must walk it very day.
We hold each other accountable for all important elements of our safety culture through Daily Safety Toolbox Talks, Daily Job Safety Analysis, Safety Trainings, Root Cause Analysis for all Incidents, to name just a few. Our Safety Department makes regular visits to all work sites performing audits and inspections to ensure our safe work expectations are being met and provide additional training when required. Additionally, all operational and safety leadership throughout the company participate in our Weekly Safety Conference call where our current Safety KPI’s are reviewed and safety information and training topics are shared. Richardson-Wayland also provides an anonymous hotline where employees can report a safety concern, violation, or near miss to make sure a possible unsafe condition is investigated.
